Karen's husband, jazz pianist Bill Davies, was a professor |
| at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He now functions | |
| as her partner in 'PeaDesigns, handling many of the business | |
| and computer-related tasks. Their black lab -- (Ms.) Jake | |
| also has a role in 'PeaDesigns -- as a model. | |
| Karen's art work has been acclaimed for decades, | |
| and has been exhibited in a number of shows: Member of | |
| 8-person Underground Cooperative Gallery (Provincetown), | |
| 1990 Honorable mention, open-juried competition, | |
| Sunshine Art Center (St. Petersburg Beach, FL.), 1991 - | |

| 'PeaDesigns is the result of Karen's desire to reach a wider audience, largely through the medium |
| of miniatures. Her small works and jewelry first appeared in shops in Provincetown and |
| St. Pete Beach FL in the summer of 1998, and have been enthusiastically received. |
